You have reached the homepage for Jusa, the Japan U.S. Association at Cornell University. Jusa is a great organization to learn more about Japan and it's culture. You can meet other Japanese, Japanese-American, or anyone else interested in hanging out, having a good time, and participating in fun events. Jusa is open to everyone who wants to make the most out of their college experience.
Jusa's events range from cultural food nights and exhibitions to participating in intramural sports. As a Cornell Freshman last year I was part of the ferocious Jusa squads that tore up the ranks of mere amateur basketball, football and volleyball players from other less fortunate associations... well, almost. But nevertheless, being involved in Jusa is a best way to meet new people with the same interests, and provides a much needed break from prelims and essays.
Anyone interested in joining Jusa for the fall '99 semester should come to our grand welcoming picnic on Saturday, September 4th. If you've missed that already contact Jusa President Janet Tomiyama at [email protected]. Any other questions or comments about Jusa or the website can be directed to the Jusa Webmaster Matt Davis [email protected]. Come back to the website often for updates on Jusa meetings and events. Also check out the pathways when you're walking around campus for our colorful chalkings to let you know what's happening.
